Reporting a bug
We can’t look, so please describe.
Nothing you say leaves your device, which means there is no server-side log for us to read and no copy of your library for us to reproduce against. That is deliberate, and the cost of it lands here: a good description does the work that a crash dashboard would do somewhere else.
What helps most:
- What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead
- Your device and iOS version — Settings › General › About
- The app version, from its own settings screen
- Whether it happens every time, or happened once
Please don’t send us recordings or transcripts to help us debug. We would rather work from a description than start holding the thing we told you we don’t hold.

Most of it is one of these.
Where is my data?
On your device. There is no account, no server copy, and nothing for us to log into. Deleting the app deletes everything it held.
Can you recover something I deleted?
No — and that is the same fact as the one above, seen from the other side. We hold no copy of your library, so there is nothing for us to restore from. Your device's own backup is the only route.
A reminder didn’t arrive when I got somewhere.
Place reminders need location access set to Always — While Using the App is not enough, because the app is not open at the moment it needs to notice. Notifications need to be allowed too. Both are in Settings, under the app.
It didn’t catch what I said.
Hold the button for as long as you are talking and let go when you are done. It only listens while you are holding it, so a tap gets a fraction of a second.

Not yet. When it does, it will go through your own iCloud account.
What do I need to run it?
iPhone 15 Pro and later, on iOS 26. iPad with M1 or A17 Pro. Any Apple silicon Mac.
The beta
Running the TestFlight build.
Beta builds carry the same privacy guarantees as the released app — TestFlight does not change where your data lives. Apple shows us crash reports and how many people are on each build, and nothing else.
